Recently the New York Daily News wrote an article on the GOPs, election
2006 troubles. In the piece, the author wrote, "But the possibility of
losing Congress doesn't seem as remote as it once did. Many
tried-and-true Republican voters are disenchanted with party leaders in
Congress, and the sulky mood could suppress turnout in November, RNC
members said."
Yes, well, Bush is on a mission to repair that problem. Nothing gets the
GOP base jazzed up like a good ol' war that doesn't need fighting, but
that Republicans make into a huge national security issue...more
