White House veto threats proliferate
By JIM ABRAMS, Associated Press Writer
WASHINGTON -
The president with the fewest vetoes in more than a century, George W.
Bush is poised to make up for lost time as congressional Democrats
move legislation the White House says is unacceptable.
In the past week alone the White House threatened to veto House bills
dealing with presidential records and protection for whistle-blowers,
and a defeated Senate bill that would have set a deadline for
withdrawal from Iraq.
The White House also warned that a war-spending bill the House will
take up this coming week would face a veto because it contains Iraq
withdrawal language.

Congress should defy Bush to veto the bill. Then they can
accuse the
president of not supporting the troops.

Exactly. But they'd be right. Bushler and Co want to send
undertrained, ill-equipped and fatigued troops to be slaughtered.
They clearly hate Americans, and want to see them harmed.
Impeach Commissar CheNey and Chimpoleon!
