War Criminal INDIA Using Toy Bombs to Target LoC Civilians |
ISLAMABAD – Director General Inter Services Public Relations Major
General
Shaukat Sultan Tuesday said that Pakistan would raise at a suitable
international forum the issue of India using toy bombs in Kashmir.
Talking to the media, he said that the use of toy bombs is in clear
violation of the United Nation's Vienna Convention. "According to
reports
toy bombs are targeting civilians at the Line of Control (LoC) and
hurting
mainly the children of the area," he said and added that "therefore we
would
take up the matter at an appropriate international forum."
To a question about the proposed bus service between Srinagar and
Muzaffarbad, the top spokesman of the armed forces said the ISPR
maintains Pakistan's official stance in this regard that it should be
materialised under the UN.
About incidents of unprovoked firing by the Indian troops from across
the
LoC, the Major General said, targeting the civilian population in
Kashmir is
now a routine of Indian army. Highlighting the paradox, he said that
India on the one hand had been talking about Confidence Building
Measures (CBMs) while on the other it had been targeting the
civilians.
"Had India been sincere to make progress on the CBMs then she has to
stop
targeting civil population across the LOC forthwith," he maintained.
