The quagmire nobody talks about
July 29th, 2004
December of this year will mark the nine-year anniversary of US and
NATO intervention in the Balkan War of 1992-95. For almost a decade,
our troops have been conducting stability and support operations in
Bosnia-Herzegovina, and, later, provided secure bases for the air war
against Serbia in 1999. Then-President Bill Clinton promised that the
troops would be home by Christmas of 1996, but as the years passed, US
military units that deployed to the Balkans became the "forgotten"
soldiers of a self-absorbed, pre-911 Clinton Administration.

LOL, what "quagmire" in the Balkans? There were ZERO U.S. KIA's in this
conflict and there barely a handful of U.S. troops still there, less than
1500, if even that many!

number is probably close to 800!

800-1500 Troops is miniscule compared to how many will remain in Iraq for
years to come.
And Clinton still needs little worms like you to suck up to him and defend
his lies.
You seem to have your head pretty far up Bush's butt to even be able to see

ZERO. How many U.S. troops remain in Bosnia & Kosovo? Not many. Bosnia &
