climate changes that happened before World War II. A more plausible
explanation is the convergence of the documented 30-year spike in
cat ownership in America with an increase in irresponsible pet
owners who didn't have their cats spayed or neutered.

That Pets Across America got caught up in the global-warming frenzy
is understandable, but it should have realized that trying to
piggyback a cockamamie theory on a cockamamie theory might cause it
catastrophic embarrassment.
