Just in time to take the spotlight off of Bush, war crimes in Haditha, etc.,
plummeting poll numbers, skyrocketing oil prices, etc.
It is likely the military knew where he was and was waiting until they could
convert him into political capital for the Bush cabal. Zarqawi is a Bush
creation. Bush gave him and al Qaeda a stage and battleground to kill U.S.
soldiers and Iraqis while using him as a bad guy to justify their war.
Everyone was overcome with joy and excitement that the infamous Zarqawi had
been taken out by two 500 lb bombs, even though he was still alive and in
one piece after being hit with a 1000 lbs of explosives. My what a
coincidence. The Bush administration seems to be full of them.
