Watch out For Killer Canadian Drugs!!! |
Part of last nights canard and Jr.s biggest bald face lie to the nation. He
just doesn't know is those Canadian drugs are safe. No politics entered
into that decision. Just plain ole concern for the American people.

Canadian drug manufacturers are not subject to FDA supervision and
while for the most part those companies probably would meet FDA
standards there is no guarantee. There is also no guarantee the
drugs one might get were actually made in Canada.
And furthermore isn't the discussion supposed to be about
re-importation of US made pharmaceuticals.
There is also the question of just how happy the Canuckleheads are
going to be when their prices start rising as a consequence of
supplies going to the US.
The trade in re-imported drugs thats happening now still only
accounts for a smallish fraction of the total sector and it
should not be asumed that the current dynamic is sustainable.
Finally you have to ask yourself what the effect on drug R&D of
such a policy might be. Its certainly going to influence decisions
on what gets developed.
Me, I'd put a horrendous tax on lifestyle drugs ( Viagra and diet
pills for instance ) and use the proceeds to subsidise the necessary
stuff. Might also cut down on the spam those &$#**$*&%&#$*# infest
my in-box with.
