Object: Watchdog says FBI violated surveillance rules
Before 9/11, I would have been outraged at such a violation of personal
liberty. Since 9/11, if a handful of America's sworn enemy, the muslims,
have there rights compromised, so be it. War can be ugly and if intercepting
a few e-mails somehow prevents another horrible attack, I have no problem
with that.

Fine. Let them violate your personal liberty. I don't want them violating
mine.

I was busily flonking away in alt.politics.homosexuality, when The Goddess
Eris Herself suddenly made me reply to J Young:

Compromising rights can't help a thing -- not when the only reason 9/11 was
such a success for al-Qaeda is because the White House repeatedly ignored
intel from the CIA and the FBI on al-Qaeda's plans.
