Alex is not dictating anything, as a Frenchman and as an European, he
has the right to give his opinion about admitting Turkey into European
Community and, like a majority of his fellow citizens,, he's not in
favour of it for several reasons.

Whenever another
country (or Alex himself) wants to act in it's own self interest then
thats wonderful world freedom but when the US acts in its own interest
then that's evil world domination justifying blowing up New York City.
I believe that we have a solid double standard here.
