We are doomed by increase population |

India is adding 11,000,000 people per year or over 30,000 a day.

Today there are 6 billion people on the planet and we are adding a billion more
every 12 years
800 million people in our world do not have enough food to eat. Hundreds of
millions would move here if they could but we are not an open house
our media rarely mentions the enormous fiscal costs which immigration on this
scale places upon receiving communities and the middle class who must fund the
social services of rapidly growing immigrant colonies, predominately poor and
with many children who require special education and bi-lingual classes,
Many Americans feel that bringing in millions of mostly impoverished people
from third world nations is a generous and ethical thing to do, a way to share
the wealth. But this generosity is having unintended consequences which are
very destructive to this country and to the rest of the world, and it does
nothing to empower third world people to solve the problems in their native
land
Had we stabilized immigration at replacement numbers (net immigration = net
emigration) in 1970, U.S. population would have stabilized at 255 million in
2020 and then gradually decreased to an environmentally sustainable level. Yet
Congressional acts have increased immigration six-fold, starting in 1965. The
first manifestations of this increase were realized by the first Earth Day in
1970. Current immigration levels are driving U.S. population to double this
century
U.S. fertility first dropped to less than replacement level fertility in 1972
Population growth is influenced by three factors: mortality (the death rate),
birth rates or fertility (children per woman) and net immigration (immigration
minus emigration).29 Mortality has been steadily decreasing in the U.S.2 and it
would be difficult to argue for less medical care and a higher death rate.
Unlike in developing countries, fertility (children per woman) is no longer the
significant contributor to U.S. population growth. In fact, overall U.S.
fertility is slightly less than replacement level and has not exceeded
replacement level since 1972
The U.S. is the world's highest-consuming nation and our per-capita level of
consumption is magnified by our population numbers. Yet our population
continues to grow at a rate comparable to many third-world countries - since
1945 our population growth rate has equaled that of India and California is
currently growing faster than Bangladesh
Unfortunately, the report was quickly cast aside. Now, with a population of
nearly 300 million on the way to doubling this century, our nation is sorely in
need of a realistic, sustainable national population policy. Environmentalists
can contribute to the formation of an appropriate and sustainable national
population policy by pointing out the clear connection between U.S. population
growth and environmental degradation and the need to achieve an environmentally
sustainable society.

population stabilization'
The United States has the highest population growth rate of all developed
countries in the world and at more than 290 million, is the third most populous
country in the world. The United States Census Bureau tells us that if current
trends continue, our population will double this century, practically within
the lifetimes of children born today.

On Friday, April 2, 1999, the Census Bureau reported that the world's
population is currently approximately 6 billion. A study done by the Census
Bureau predicts that the world population will reach 8 billion by the year
2026, and 9.3 billion by the year 2050.
In a surprising recent development, the U.S. TFR has been revised, so the
United States is no longer the sole industrialized country with fertility above
the replacement level of about 2.1 children per woman. In 2001, the U.S. TFR
was estimated at 2.034, down from 2.056 in 2000. The change reflected the 2000
Census count of the U.S. population, which was nearly 7 million higher than
expected (when denominators of rates rise, the rates themselves go down). An
August 2002 cover story in the Economist pointed out that the U.S. birth rate
is a great deal higher than those of countries on the other side of the
Atlantic. Perhaps the new estimate of the U.S. TFR and the sagging U.S.
economy, which may further reduce the birth rate, will narrow that gap in the
near future

Don't worry about it boy the problem will be sorted out long before it
becomes a problem.

If overpopulation is not a problem now it probably will be in
the future. In places like India they are already overpopulated.
Overpopulation means suffering and misery and is something we need
to avoid. We can't have the population keep doubling forever without
running out of food and having other problems that would make life
miserable for millions of people.
We will someday need to limit the number of people being born and
we should do this in the best and most rational way. This means we
should not do it on a voluntary basis. If it were done voluntarily the
best people would not reproduce while the people who don't care about
anything would. On a voluntary basis the most intelligent and caring
people would not reproduce, while the inferior people who don't care
about anything would produce more people who don't care about
anything. Intelligence is hereditary and a sane policy would see to it
that it is the intelligent people who reproduce. The choice is between
a great world in the future or a pathetic catastrophe for our future.
Today the White race is not reproducing enough to keep our race at the
present numbers. Dealing with overpopulation on a voluntary basis is a
big mistake. We must see the situation as it is and deal with the
facts of the matter. How will a voluntary program work on
unintelligent libertines who couldn't care less about the problem?
If the population of a nation is not too big than we would not
have to implement any program. But if the population becomes a serious
problem we should sterilize some of the people. This does not entail
misery and suffering as a food shortage would. The people would be
educated by the media that they are doing a great service to the
nation and they should be treated honorably. They would not be harmed
or allowed to starve to death because there isn't enough jobs for
them, which is some peoples answer to the problem. We don't need to
depend on wars to reduce the population. We can end misery and
suffering in the world, but we must realize we need a plan to keep the
population from always doubling.
When the population of a nation becomes a serious problem we
should reduce the number of births for example by 10%. We should then
have the fair and just method of testing everyones IQ and those who
score in the lowest 10% should be sterilized. We could keep it
confidential and do whatever we can eliminate hardships. But this
would be fair to all. Everyone has a chance to score high on the test.
There can be no allowances for the rich or the famous.
The population problem would then be solved. It would be done
justly and fairly and with the best future for mankind as the result
and as our goal.
