of all people, Pat Buchanan has it right. We should bring our troops
home, button up the borders and close our foreign soil bases that just
intimidate those around them..IT IS THAT SIMPLE

you can secure our borders in SIX months using the US Army ....and
military tactics ...as does almost every other nation in the
world.. Current polticians do not subscribe to usng the military.
The reasons not to are myopic. Write Congressman Pete King and
tell him his fence as planned..is a political obfuscation. All we
need is razor wire and sentrys.

simultaneously training potential top knotch candidates for local
law enforcement....

If the Army recruits..."for a unit of MP and border control
purposes only" about 112,000 (3 shifts and a backup) young men and
women...put them every quarter mile...aloong 7000 miles of border,
or adjacent land.....the border is sealed. The cost? 10-14
Billion per annum...one months of expense in Iraq

Put a fence up without human interference capability...the fence
will accomplish little to nothing...... The new San Diego fence is
not effective because of the fence .. it is mostly effective
because of the human fence that came with it.

You need a human fence... with local law enforcement capability to
interdict on demand.. like they do now,,,,.IT IS THAT SIMPLE

Quarter mile intervals give each sentry a direct responsibility for
an area 660 feet in circumference.....

Back pack tents and body waste depositories, radios, weapons, water
and lights are easy each sentry's in and out....in and out...each 8
hour shift and/or as needed...700 feet of razor wire per sentry ..
can be brought in and streched out...once or as often as necessary.

Local jursidictions can be called in for interdiction just as they
are now.

Anybody with military experience knows you can secure a perimeter
with lazor wire and sentries.

Does not matter if it is -80F windchill in Wyoming..or 120F in AZ
F...these human sentry posts are .... a piece of cake to install,
support, maintain and expedite

Troops are also rotated, more immune to bribery, intimidation and
extortion...unlike the border patrol.....
