Lets see now, there are only two companies in the world who manufacture
the flu vaccine. One is Aventis Pasteur, a *French* company with
manufacturing facilities in Pennsylvania, and the other is Chiron Corp,
a *California* based company with vaccine manufacturing facilities
Liverpool, England. The plant in Pennsylvania can't produce enough for
the total US needs, so the only other choice is to also get vaccine from
Chiron as well, which unfortunately cannot deliver this year because of
contamination of the vaccine they produced.
So just who else would you suggest it be contracted out to?
And you elusion that somehow it is benefiting Blair, you should be more
concerned about France, since they own Aventis Pasteur.
I guess the next time you stump your toe because of your own clumsiness,
you will somehow convince yourself it has to be Bush's fault.

Yep a company here in Vancouver actually, they have 1.5 million unused doses
which they are more then willing to send to the US cheap.
At Vancouver International Airport, people flying in from the US are getting
flu shots while waiting for their connecting flights.
If you agree with flu shots or not, the fact remains that if you really want
one, and you can't get one at home, Canada is always willing to help.

that we have this shortage, everyone thinks they are going to die if
they don't get one. If the healthy people will stop demanding they get
