Multi-National Division – Baghdad PAO
BAGHDAD –
Insurgent small arms fire targeting a Multi-National Division –
Baghdad patrol killed one Soldier near the city’s center Jan. 24.
The unit was participating in a combined security operation in the
area, aimed at disrupting and isolating militia activity when they
came under small arms fire.
One Soldier was killed, two others were wounded.

The monthly death toll through Jan. 24 is 62
3,063 American troops are dead, 22,953 have been wounded, over 650,000
innocent Iraqis are dead and wounded
