IMMEDIATE RELEASE July 6, 2005

DoD Identifies Army Casualties
The Department of Defense announced today the death of two soldiers
who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
They died on July 5, 2005, in Baghdad, Iraq, when an improvised
explosive device detonated near their HMMWV during patrol operations.
Both soldiers were assigned to 3rd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry
Regiment, Fort Carson, Colo.
Killed were:
Staff Sgt. Scottie L. Bright, 36, of Montgomery, Ala.
Cpl. Lyle J. Cambridge, 23, of Shiprock, N.M.
