BAGHDAD — Multi-National Division –
A Multi-National Division-Baghdad Soldier was killed when a roadside
bomb detonated during combat operations in an eastern section of the
Iraqi capital June 6.
One other Soldier was wounded in the attack.

DoD Identifies Air Force Casualties
The Department of Defense announced today the death of two airmen who
were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
They died June 5 in Kirkuk, Iraq, of wounds suffered when their
vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device.

One Task Force Lightning Soldier was killed as a result of injuries
sustained from an explosion while conducting operations in Diyala
Province, June 6.
One Soldier was also wounded and transported to a Coalition medical
facility for treatment.
