BAGHDAD –
On March 7, an MND-B unit was conducting a route clearance patrol in
order to secure a commonly traveled route of improvised explosive
devices northwest of the Iraqi capital when they were struck by a
roadside bomb, killing three Soldiers and wounding another.

The monthly U.S. death toll through Mar. 7 is 24
3,188 American troops are dead, 23,787 have been wounded, over 650,000
innocent Iraqis are dead and wounded
