Were soldiers beheaded? |
The pentagon says preliminary identification of the two bodies was done from
tatoos and other marks on the body. DNA testing needs to be done to
determine their identities.
Add the fact Al Quada referred to a neck cutting term associated with
beheading and I think both soldiers were beheaded and the heads may be
missing.

The news I heard was they were hacked to pieces and eyes gouged.
If that was the cause of death is unkown. They could have been shot
then the bodies desacrated.

One report I heard indicated their eyes had been gouged out and they had
been castrated. Not really surprising--pretty much standard fare for
war. It seems these people do have a special obsession with beheading,
howeve, not just limiting it to prisoners of war.

Those Cut and Run terrorists. They must be that republican guard we used to
hear about. They had to be republicans. I am sure everyone could agree on
that for sure. Remember Abu Ghraib is their battle cry. Guantanamo Bay or
Bust. Bush is still sicker than anyone in Iraq.

Not a very skillful change of subject, Jimmy.

I am not trying to change the subject. The changes will come when it can be
decided what should be released as "facts" surrounding this incident. I was
being sarcastic but I feel more accurate and still waiting to hear more
details before holding a lynching party as so many have already done. I have
already pointed out in other posts that I feel supporting the troops even if
they were wrong is appropriate. I have not heard of any official report
about beheading. All is speculative and provocative which is the way some
prefer it. I would damn the administration well before anyone else as they
are the ones that seem to be custom fitting every report of every action. I
see the actions of the so called enemy as responses. We can be bad and they
can be badder and then we can top them and so forth. I don't see any
progress as some would like everyone to believe. Do you?
Time to run away and live to fight another day. Some want to get a promotion
by calling it "Cut and Run".

I'm not convinced that the US military would take kindly to being ordered to
run away. Not convinced that American people would support that, either.

It would not be running at any point. There has been far to much damage and
death of enemy forces to ever call it a lost war. Many objectives have been
met and at any time victory could be claimed. Things will never get much
better even if all the resistance had only stones. There has to be some
breathing time before the next war anyway.

He sounds accurate to me. Bush has lost his head a long time ago but he
keeps up the babble.
