has been given every opportunity to correct course, but seems
determined to keep his foot on the pedal. Will his accountability

This is what is great about America, and everyone loves a circus. We
have celebs going out and doing the slutty "Girls Gone Wild" schtick,
and a President who hasn't the clue that he's about to have his *****
handed to him in the way of a revolt in his own party over the war in
Iraq - Not to mention the countless number of investigations and
Congressional committees looking into this miscreant's failed and
corrupt Administration. What is "great" about all this is one cannot
readily compare the two but rationalize the significance of such
air-headed dolts who are in the fore front of the news in this country
.. . . And that presumably is what Bush's conception of "freedom" is
all about.
The 'freedom' to go throughout live without any consideration of
consequence for any wrong doing however immoral or criminal it might
be - This is repugnant.
The 'freedom' to do what one feels is unquestionably "right" simply
because it is a birth-right and one that is owed. And this repulsive.
The 'freedom' to be a complete moron and to justify such idiotic
behavior simply because one is above accountability. And this is
reprehensible..
The 'freedom' to flip the "bird" and the international hand gesture
for 'F&4K YOU!' and find it funny as one's own vomit. And this is far
more terrible.
This is the sad and pathetic state that this proud Union is in when
teenage idols such as Hilton, and a pseudo leader of the most powerful
nation on earth who looks like a Chimp, are now the laughing stock of
those around the world (for and against), and right here in the United
States of America. And while it would be 'great' to compare the two,
it is even greater to acknowledge the fact that we now know, if we
haven't already, just where the "terror" lays by any comparison.
For why, statistically speaking, is it that in a tremendous and fatal
car accident does the drunk driver seem to survive the impact? What
does one expect if one had the gall to hand a chimpanzee a loaded .50
caliber S/W Magnum in the middle of a circus act, with the roar of the
crowd cheering it on? Time will tell, in a political sense, as to
whether that bodes well for this Bush administration.
