Sum 41 Want To Give George W. Bush The Hook
April 22, 2004
The album's liner notes include the lyrics to some of the songs, but
also includes some political commentary by a few of the bands as well
as a list of a Top 20 reasons to hate George Bush.
Sum 41, who are always good for a laugh even on serious matters, ask
"What ever happened to George W. Bush the comedian?" on their
political commentary.
"He used to be so funny," they write.
"Calling Africa a country, the word "subliminable" or how about when
he puked on the Japanese Prime Minister?
Wait, that was his father (the Bush funny bone must be genetic).
Regardless, everyone was having a good laugh.
But that's all changed now.
When he isn't bombing a defenseless country, he's destroying the
environment or worse.
That doesn't make good comedy, George.
If this was the Apollo Theatre, you'd have been booed off stage by
now."

Not funny, eh? I guess they didn't hear Li'l Georgie's latest;
"Those weapons of mass destruction must be somewhere!" and "Nope, no
weapons over there!" and "Maybe under here?"
George W. Bush's big joke
Now *that's* funny.

What's funnier is when they play "Happy Trails To YOU" in November and he
rides off into the Sunset, hand-in-hand with Condi Rice.
