Object: What has happened to our standard of living?
The standard of living in America was used to be among the best in the
world. If things don't change our children will be much worse off than
we are. Buying a decent home is an impossible dream for many
hard-working Americans.
Something has caused our personal budgets to be cut. It will destroy
your financial future unless you act to stop it.
The Federal government policies of taxation and inflation is the
culprit. In the 1950's the Federal Income tax amounted to only 2% of
the family budget. Americans enjoyed the highest standard of living in
the world.
By the 1990's, the Federal income tax took 25% of income for a family
of four. Today if you combine federal, state, and local many Americans
loose 50% of a their income. We must work from January to June just to
pay taxes.
Most of us are one to two paychecks bankruptcy. The government is
spending half of your income on things you probably do not support.
From 1950 to today the United States has increased the money supply
and produced inflation as a result. Groceries cost more; clothing
costs more; your car costs more. You work harder every day for less.
The federal government has borrowed so much money that your children
and grand children's children will be sacrificing their entire
economic lives to pay the Federal debt. Most of every dollar you have
worked for is borrowed money.
There is hope for working Americans! Over 600 officials have been
elected to office that are not affiliated with the Democratic or the
Republican Parties. These people want to keep the government from
stealing your money. They believe that if government were limited to
it's constitutional functions, then most Americans would be better
off. Less government corruption. No more expensive projects. No more
"special interest" favors at your expense. No more forcing our ideals
on the world. No more using our money to support tyrrany under the
guise of supporting democracy.
I strongly urge people to vote for these candidates in future
elections. They are out there and they are gaining ground.
Speak up and speak often. Use every forum you have at your disposal.
We can make things better.
