Object: "What if we have a president who believes in science"...kerry speech....
in my view kerry's speech was a bunch of empty waffle, at time bordering
on
dishonest....
it is also larded with emotion and piety while being very short on
specifics....
never the less i think it sane to hear what he said...
http://www.whywehatebush.com/news/04_07_kerry.html
"I will be a commander in chief who will never mislead us into war. I will
have a Vice President who will not conduct secret meetings with polluters
to rewrite our environmental laws. I will have a Secretary of Defense who
will listen to the best advice of our military leaders. And I will appoint
an Attorney General who actually upholds the Constitution of the United
States."
......
"Let there be no mistake: I will never hesitate to use force when it is
required. Any attack will be met with a swift and certain response. I will
never give any nation or international institution a veto over our
national security. And I will build a stronger American military.
We will add 40,000 active duty troops - not in Iraq, but to strengthen
American forces that are now overstretched, overextended, and under
pressure.
We will double our special forces to conduct anti-terrorist operations. We
will provide our troops with the newest weapons and technology to save
their lives - and win the battle. And we will end the backdoor draft of
National Guard and reservists."
....
"We need to lead a global effort against nuclear proliferation - to keep
the most dangerous weapons in the world out of the most dangerous hands in
the world."
[the sort of dishonesty to which i refer...this process is already in
hand...there is much more of it, eg comments about 95% of containers
ships being unexamined, what is he proposing? 94%? examine every
damned thing that comes into the usa?....ab]
....
"We value an America that controls its own destiny because it's finally
and forever independent of Mideast oil. What does it mean for our economy
and our national security when we only have three percent of the world's
oil reserves, yet we rely on foreign countries for fifty-three percent of
what we consume? I want an America that relies on its own ingenuity and
innovation - not the Saudi royal family.
And our energy plan for a stronger America will invest in new technologies
and alternative fuels and the cars of the future - so that no young
American in uniform will ever be held hostage to our dependence on oil
from the Middle East."
.....
regards....

He did not say anything about parrots. For example. it would have been
refeshing to have known his views on the Amazonian Blue Macaw. I think you
can judge a politician well on knowing his views on parrots.

There is an infestation of parakeets spreading across England
and concentrated in South London.
Are they the illegal immigrant bastards behind Blair ? ;o)

Since you do mind reading, that's not a problem is it.
Perhaps you could post a daily report of what the politicians
are not saying; that would be very helpful...

Yes, I do wonder about this fellow.
I don't think it would be good news for Britain if another
Irish, IRA supporting Democrat was to get into the
White House. God protect us from that !
But with the Jews running anybody who gets there, it
hardly matters who wins. They will still control the
US - and that is bad news for everybody on both sides
