On April 15, 2003, I informed the IRS that I would no longer be paying
federal income taxes for that year, or any future year. As I relayed to Lisa
Guliani in her article Victor Thorn: Conscientious Objector, “I can no longer
support a government that more closely resembles an organized crime syndicate
than a representative of the people.”
