What is George W. Bush doing still in Iraq? |
What is George W. Bush doing still in Iraq?
It's difficult to grasp why it's not more universally
understood that there has never been, there is not
now, and it's extremely unlikely that there will ever
be a genuine democracy in any Islamic majority
country. And this is why:
Islam is not only incompatible with democracy but is
its direct opposite:
Democracy/Islam = The People Rule/The People Submit
Democracy/Islam = The People Rule/The People Submit
Democracy/Islam = The People Rule/The People Submit
Democracy = The people [as in "power to the people"].
Islam = Submission [Yes, "submit to God." But until
God gets off an airplane somewhere and runs for office
what it really means in practice is "submit to any SOB
who claims he speaks for God." To my knowledge God's
never been president of any country. And in the end
even Saddam Hussein ended up claiming that he spoke
for God.]
Whereas the ideal of democracy is to choose those
representatives most submissive to the will of the
people, the Muslim ideal of democracy is to be able to
choose the dictator to whom to submit.
For the truly pius Muslim, "Democracy is like a
streetcar: When you come to your stop, you get
off." So said Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the current
prime minister of (for now) "secularist" Turkey.
This should explain to anyone why "the politicians of
the western democracies are such worms," (Adolph
Hitler). And why the opinion of the common man is of
so little value in Islamic nations (along with the
humanity of that common man).
Let those who care so little for their own lives &
those of their families... surrender them to the
amusement of murderers & other madmen:
Let the Iraqis find their next Saddam or Ayatollah on
their own: Let them sell their own oil or drink it.
America has enough bombs to contain any Iraqi tyrant
for as long as he has Iraqis to doom to be bombed.
What is George W. Bush doing still in Iraq?
If it's to win hearts & minds... somebody kindly
explain to him that as much as the Iraqis loved us for
ridding them of their last tyrant that much will they
hate us for keeping them from their next one.
If it's to build a democracy there... then he should
know that he's throwing away money and lives in a
fatal fallacy, the result of raw ignorance.

Beware of the mad Austrians!

How many muslims do you know personally to make
such an all-embracing declarative statement?
Do you think it's a _democratic_ act to conquer
foreign countries? For me, it seems more than a
horde of _Barbarians_ who couldn't await to get
all the oil down there. And now they choke on a
bite which was a little bit too large - growing
debts, downgoing economy, increasing casualties
and the loss of a once good reputation.
May the Shwartz be with you...
