Object: what the Democrats are up against
Here's what the Democrats are up against - unemployment is at 5.7 percent
and falling, 55 percent of Americans are satisfied with how things are going
in the country, and 60 percent approve of the way the president is doing his
job.
POSSIBLY some of the remaining 40% will vote for the Democrat candidate, but
even that's not a given, unless that Democrat candidate can provide
convincing and specific evidence that he would do a BETTER job.
For example, what SPECIFIC things would Kerry do to make the Unemployment
Rate fall faster than it already is? Raise taxes?
What SPECIFIC things would Dean do to make America safer against Muslim
terrorists? Cut and run in Iraq?
The Democrats now face a long, hard, tiring uphill battle. And they haven't
even decided who their best shot for a candidate is yet.

Billy, I may disagree with you and think you're an idiot, but I'll say that
you don't hide behind false handles, and you don't change your name just in
case people killfile you.
The poster (who I just killfiled again) changes his screen name two or three
times a day. The poster is the sort of idiot who cannot even stick to a
subject, but just call names and waste time.

Democrats are unable to debate the issues, because they lose on the issues.
That is true for Dean, and it will soon be true for Kerry.
In a way, the ongoing litany we hear from the Democrat posters in these
newsgroups of "Bush is a moron" is an attempt by those Democrats to
"killfile Bush". They can't actually killfile him of course, but they
mentally *attempt* to do so by dismissing him as "a moron". They know they
lose whenever they stand and debate the issues, so they much prefer to run
away from the issues and "killfile" Bush like that, just as they *attempt*
to killfile the various posters who continue to annoy them by posting the
realities of our rapidly-growing economy, the realities of our incredible
successes in Iraq, the realities of President Bush stealing the prescription
drug issue away from Ted Kennedy, etc. etc. etc.

Exactly.
It's not surprising how poorly the Democrats are now doing in the polls.
And in fact they ONLY reason they aren't doing any worse is that their
stooges in the media are currently playing the game of "Democrat so-and-so
this is pulling ahead of Democrat so-and-so that". It's like nonstop, 24x7
coverage of the Democrats and how they are doing, as if those Democrats are
viable.
Did the stooge media give nonstop, 24x7 coverage of the GOP primary race in
the months and months leading up to the election of Clinton for his second
term? No, the stooge media did not. That's because the stooge media wants
to showcase the Democrat Party whenever it can, for as much as it can, but
that same stooge media has NO interest in trying to help the GOP out like
that.
But what this means is that even WITH the Democrats being propped up like
that, their poll numbers are quite poor. And what it predicts is that Bush
is going to win reelection in a landslide, especially once the GOP campaign
machine turns on and the money starts getting spent to buy the REPUBLICANS
some "face time" to counteract the FREE "face time" the stooge media has
been handing out, at no charge, to the Democrat Party for all these months.
The road ahead is very long and hard for the Democrats.

One of the worst things this mess of so called "democrats" can
experience is 24/7 media exposure. For one thing the public
becomes fed up with them. Second is that their faults become
very clear. Bush just has to set back and look presidential. In
many ways the media, even in their love of the democrats, are
their own worst enemy.
It is also showing the fact that was very well hidden during the
Clinton administration. It is that the democrats have some very
deadly splits within their ranks, that many of the factions hate
each other. It is one reason that I think we are heading to a
multi party (about five parties) system.

Lots of fire and anger during the primaries. Seems that was true
of the republicans as well in 1996. How far did it get them
then? It is easy to what anyone but Bush. It will be harder
once there is a single person against Bush.
My guess it will be Edwards.

And at no point will Americans say that of President Bush.

52% of Americans do not want Bush re-elected

That's not what they're saying . The majority of Americans will vote to
reelect Bush.

Maybe they will, but I bet they don't.
Losing jobs and letting terrorists kill 3K Americans aren't exaclty resume

But turning around an economy which Clinton put into a recession IS a huge
resume builder. The DOW is going through the roof, housing starts are
skyrocketing, the Unemployment Rate has been falling steadily for months and
months, manufacturing is up, and there is no runaway inflation as there was
during Carter. Those are all VERY big resume builders.
In addition, Bush's forceful and courageous response to the Muslim terrorism
is a huge resume builder. That's also an area where the Democrat
candidates for President look VERY bad - those Democrats come across as
useless cowards in the face of terrorism.

But turning around an economy which Clinton put into a recession

ROTFLOL
Yeah, Clinton takes the USA out of BushRecession1, gives us the best economy
in history, Dubya takes over and the country goes into a short recession and
you blame Clinton.
Yeah, your reasoning powers are real solid.
But I;ll give you a chance.
How did "Clinton get the USA into a recession".

Tell that to the over one-half million computer scientists and engineers

"Offshore outsourcing," not terrorism is the number one threat to most

Here's what the Democrats are up against -

nitwits who change their handle every 6 hours because they are so desperate

That is the sort of cowardice we have come

Look at the time the "*****-clown" puts into its posting. How anyone can posts as
many posts that say the same thing over and over again and then run away like a
crook in the night when confronted with anything beyond 2 + 2 = 4 reasoning and
not defend itself againest a killfilter is the only thing going for the
*****-clown.

Corey Says-
They don't answer the questions because they can't. all they do is lie about
and slander the opposition, hoping for enough gullible fools in the voting
pool to prop up one of their pathetic goons. Heh heh! end.

No, what the democrats are up against is a fight within their own
ranks that is far worst than anything that the republicans have.
It is a party that is splitting apart. I would not be surprised
to see a lot of Dean supporters going over to the Greens (where
they belong). Blacks are pissed over the gays, not only over gay
marriage but because homosexuals are horning in on the civil
rights issues. And the union guys feel that working class issues
no longer matter to the yuppies that run the party. The workers
are also pissed over dem support for gun control and the anti
church attitudes of the left. And lets not forget the attacks on
Jews by the far left.
