What the Word of God says on homosexualism and homosexuals |
On homosexualism:
"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination"
(Lev. 18:22).
On homosexuals:
"But...the abominable...shall have
their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:
which is the second death."
(Rev. 21:8)
On causes and consequences of homosexualism:
"And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman,
burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that
which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of
their error which was meet."
(Rom. 1:27)
-- The Gospel--
1. You have sinned against God.
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." [Rom. 3:23]
"Whosoever shall keep the whole law and yet offend in one point, he is
guilty of all."[Jas. 2:10]
"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is
not in us." [1 Jn. 1:8]
2. God is a holy, sin-hating God.
"Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity."
[Hab. 1:13]
"For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness; neither shall
evil dwell in thee." [Ps. 5:4]
3. God's holy nature demands that all sin must be punished.
"For the wages of sin is death."[Rom. 6:23]
"And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered
up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to
their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is
the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life
was cast into the lake of fire."[Rev. 20:14-15]
4. God gave up himself as a sacrifice for your sins, receiving the wages of
sin, which is death. Just as Christ was resurrected, so to will we who
pick up our crosses daily and follow Him.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us."[Rom. 5:8]
"He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities."
[Isa. 53:5]
"Who did no sin...Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the
tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose
stripes ye were healed." [1 Pet. 22, 24]
"Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures: And that he was
buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures"
[1 Cor. 15:3-4]
5. Jesus' death alone can save you from Hell--an eternal separation from
God--and nothing else.
"He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by
his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear
their iniquities."[Isa. 53:11]
"For if righteousness come by the law, then Christ died in vain."[Gal. 2:21]
"Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in His
sight."[Rom. 3:20]
"Not by works of righeousness which we have done, but according to His
mercy He saved us."[Titus 3:5]
"But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as
filty rags."[Isa. 64:6]
6. Eternal life is a gift from God to be received, not earned.
"The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."[Rom. 6:23]
"As many as received him, to them gave he power to become sons of God,
even to them that believe on his name."[John 1:12]
7. To receive eternal life and be saved from Hell, you must ask Jesus to
save you.
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
[Rom. 10:13]
When you ask to be saved, two things are of vital importance:
"Repentence toward God, and Faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ."[Acts 20:21
"Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."[Lk. 13:3]
"For thou desirest not sacrifices, else I would give it: thou delightest
not in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a
broken and contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise."[Ps 51:16-17]
"I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace
of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that
trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an
angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have
preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now
again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have
received, let him be accursed." Galatians 1:6-9

If Lev. is the Word of God why isn't there a single church in the world
that follows what the rest of the book says? (not even Orthodox Jews).
And...why do people who quote this verse as if it's absolute truth,
ignore everything else in that same book?
Is it because they're dumb, hypocrites, uninformed, misinformed or just
liars who think they can get away with it?
Jesus said judge not least ye be judged. The anti gay Christian is first
and foremost unchristian, then a false prophet, a liar, a deceiver, a
person damned for all time.

<SNIP>
"...except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the
scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven."
(Mat. 5:20)
Jesus said judge not least ye be judged.
No, he said "Judge not; that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye
judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be
measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy
brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of
thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and
then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye."
(Mat. 7:1-6)
"Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment."
(Jn. 7:24)
The anti gay Christian is first
and foremost unchristian, then a false prophet, a liar, a deceiver, a
person damned for all time.
You don't have The Word on your side with that accusation, which explains why
you can't reference scripture without mis-application. Christians hating sin
and promoting righteousness is what one expects from those who love the
Truth--which is a person--Jesus Christ.
"...And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight
years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time
in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water
is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another
steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed,
and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed,
and walked...Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him,
Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee."
(Jn.5:5-14)
Notice that last part: "sin no more..."
What is it that your jesus of your gospel would have told the man?
"Peace, peace"?
"And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery;
and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman
was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us,
that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting
him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with
his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they
continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that
is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again
he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it,
being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning
at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman
standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none
but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers?
hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her,
Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. " (Jn. 8:3-11)
Notice that last part about "...sin no more." What is it that your
jesus of your gospel would have told her? "Sorry about the interruption,
carry on"?
"There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans,
whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans
were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them,
think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."
(Lk 13:1-5)
Notice that part about repentence.
"And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume
with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of
his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with
all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of
unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love
of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they
should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not
the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. " (2 Th. 2:8-10)
2 Peter 2:
"But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall
be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies,
even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift
destruction.
And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of
truth shall be evil spoken of.
And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of
you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation
slumbereth not.
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell,
and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher
of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with
an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live
ungodly;
And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his
righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve
the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and
despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid
to speak evil of dignities.
Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing
accusation against them before the Lord.
But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak
evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in
their own corruption;
And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it
pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting
themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling
unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices;
cursed children:
Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of
Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ***** speaking with man's voice
forbad the madness of the prophet.
These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to
whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the
lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped
from them who live in error.
While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of
corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in
bondage.
For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the
knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled
therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness,
than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered
unto them.
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is
turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing
in the mire.
(2 Peter Chapter 2)
