when John McCain was captured |
There was a time when John McCain was still upset with Lt. Kerry,
because he [McCain] was forced to listen to John Forbes Kerry's
attrocity claims, while they [NVA] made him [McCain] admit he
was a War Criminal...
This was not an isolated incidence. Kerry's activities were used as
Propaganda by the NVA to RE-BUILD their support and rev up their
Troops. Men were Tortured to the Sounds of Kerry and Jane Fonda's
Voices
before this is all over
McCain will be forced to re-live that period of his life..
back when he disliked what Kerry had done..
back when he still felt the Betrayal, the Back Stabbing Pain,
and he had to look across the Senate Floor at the self admitted
War Criminal, who spit on his friends that died, and then stabbed
him in the back like a RAT
John McCain has done is own Anti-Kerry Interviews in the past
and I think that we are about to hear them again... and again...
and again... and again...
Sooner or later McCain is gonna have to answer those old Questions
"Mr. McCain, this is what you said on this *date* in
*Still-a-Secret* Magazine about what Lt. John Kerry had done.. "
"Mr. McCain, how did it make you feel when Lt. John Kerry
stabbed you in the Back?
"Mr. McCain, Did you hated him?
"Mr. McCain, Did he give the Enemy aid and comfort?
"Mr. McCain, Did you think that he committed Treason back then?
"Mr. McCain, this is what you said on this *date* in
*Still-a-Secret* Magazine about what Lt. John Kerry had done.. "

"Republican televangelist Pat Robertson recorded a telephone message to
thousands accusing McCain of being allied with "vicious" anti-Christian
bigots; a Republican professor at Bob Jones University sent out e-mails
with an unsubstantiated rumor about McCain's personal life; and other e-
mails criticized McCain for adopting a Bangladeshi
daughter.
The Bush campaign at first denied any connection with the smear effort.
But Sunday, Bush adviser Karl Rove acknowledged that the governor's
campaign had paid for some of Robertson's telephone calls,
which are also being used now in Virginia..."

Well just how did they listen to Kerry and Fonda? They clearly were not
provided with congress tv station. BTW I have read the reports of the capture
of the USS Pueblo and I have read reports on the Vietnam POW. The Vietnam POW
were 99.9 percent pilots and they were kept for only the news value of showing
them. It would appear that you have very little understand of vietnam.

It is true that as a pilot courageously hitting targets from miles away,
John McCain truly lived up to the tradition of war crimes in the US
military. The difference with Kerry was that he didn't get his hands
directly bloody, and was sheltered from having to watch people die
because of his actions!
Just for fun, Joe, do you know who made McCain famous all these years ago?
The journalist giving him a cigarette as he lies injured in obvious pain

So they should have lied and said all was well in Viet Nam?
I don't thisk it's better to lie.
Kerry and Fonda said we couldn't win the war.
Colonel Hackworth came out after years of combat in Viet Nam and said
"It's a bad war. We can't win."
I supported the war at first, and came to understand that we could not
win it, and then wanted it over.
I am sorry that this sad truth was used to torment those in captivity,
but the answer was not to lie about it, put little happy face stickers
on the reports of those dead and wounded, and just keep on getting
slaughtered.
The answer was to face the truth and give up.
We could not win.
It's always a mistake to throw good money after bad.
Kerry and Fonda and Hackworth and even Secretary of Defense McNamara
after a while and others who told the truth were trying to help us,
not hurt us.
Crusty Southern Senator and military expert Richard Russel was
captured on phone calls giving LBJ advice. LBJ really had faith in old
Russell. Russell, in private, said early on - It's the biggest god
damned mess I've ever seen and I don't see how we can win.
Why in God's name didn't LBJ listen?
WHy in God's name didn't the others listen to Russel, McNamara, Fonda,
Kerry and others and just admit it - we could not win.
We could have saved 30,000 needles US deaths if we had had the GUTS to
admit Kerry was right.
-
But we were too COWARDLY to admit we could lose a war, so we just kept
going in deeper, and deeper, and deeper.
It was cowardice.

I read what he said. I think it was the truth.
You claim he lied. So prove that.
But the big story Kerry told was this
It was a civil war, really. Our view of it as a conflict against
expanding communism didn't really fit what was going on.
So we could not win
Kerry was right
And if we had followed his advice there would be 30,000 fewer names on
that wall of dead Viet Nam veterans
Kerry tried to save them.
But people like you Joe doomed them to death
and saying that probably makes you mad
But should I lie to you?

But don't get caught up in the "cowardice" bit.
The elites then could NOT conceive of withdrawing in front of a bunch of
"slopes" and giving them a free rein on how to lead their life in their
own country. The example to others was just not acceptable. One had to
submit to the will of the US Empire, or suffer the consequences.
Same thing happening in Iraq today.
