Nationwide gas prices set another record
NEW YORK (AP) - The retail price of gasoline soared more than 18 cents last
week to an average $2.55 a gallon nationwide, a new record, the Energy
Department reported Monday.
The previous record high was $2.37 per gallon, established the previous
week. Adjusting for inflation, retail gasoline prices peaked above $3 a
gallon in 1981.

(Notice the last time they reached a peak was when Reagan was president,
though Jimmy Carter deserves some of the credit.)

there was plenty for them and for us. But the Wasichus came, and they have
made little islands for us and other little islands for the four-leggeds,
and always these islands are becoming smaller, for around them surges the
gnawing flood of the Wasichu; and it is dirty with lies and greed."

Which has nothing to do with ex-oil executives occupying the White House.

That would be a baldfaced lie.

So why are you lying in your title.

I'm not.

Is that all you leftist can really do.

If I was as ignorant as you I might believe so.

Are you all that impotent, that all you have left is lies.

It's easy to understand if you're honest with yourself when you realize that
Bush has the bully pulpit when it comes to tax cuts for the rich and
corporations, war in Iraq, or a myriad of scams that adversely effect the
average citizen, but it doesn't have enough pull or *potency* to raise fuel
efficiency standards or use the tax breaks just passed to help consumers
instead of already super profitable oil corporations.
The list is almost endless when it comes to how the ex-oil execs occupying
the White House have screwed the average American while using payola and
cronyism to benefit their buddies in the oil and energy corporations.

During the last election cycle, while Frist headed the NRSC, the health care
industry increased its contributions to Republican candidates to just under
$ 4 million and became the largest industry contributor to the party.

industry has bought itself a Senator and, now, a Senate,” says Harleigh.

crank up the issues on gays and guns and god.

Gas prices are increasing because of gays doing gas-o-line enemas on
each other.
There you have it.
Help bring down gas prices. Join the NRA, buy a gun and kill a queer.

That would be a damn site better than plunging stock prices. You see,
higher proits are like higher wages - good for those who get them. Now,
would you complain if prices went up so you could get paid more?
Usually, when demand for labor outpaces supply, working people have no
problem asking for more money. Have you noticed that?
