Object: Where is the US Navy
One the one hand we have John Kerry’s account of his times and actions in
Vietnam, supported by all, but one sailor, who was on his boat. On the
other hand we have the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, claiming that John
Kerry was not what he claims to be, and they are supported by another
group of Viet Nam Vets who, while not directly on Kerry’s boat, claim that
they were close enough to know that he is a liar.
If Kerry is right, then a great disservice not only to him, but to every
sailor who has ever received a medal, from the U.S. Navy, has been put
into a position that questions the integrity of their actions and the
Navy’s procedure of granting medals.
If the Swift Boat Veterans for truth are correct, then the U. S. Navy must
admit that its procedure for awarding medals, to its sailors, is flawed
and as such it should revoke the medals given to Sen., Kerry, and expunge
his military record of all such honors.
The U. S. Navy has the resources, and most importantly, the records and
access to all former personnel, who are still alive, who in any way
whatsoever were in the vicinity, where the actions in question took place.
Nothing happens in the Navy that isn’t documented somewhere. If Kerry’s
Gunboat was under fire and if other gun boats were under fire then there
has to be reports somewhere from various boat commanders and from other
personnel who may have been in on the action or who performed maintenance
and repairs records for those said ships. The Navy alone has the ability
to locate every living former sailor who was anywhere near the actions in
question to verify if what the Navy claimed about Lt. Kerry was correct;
or, if indeed, a lowly Lieutenant was able to pull the wool over the
Navy’s eye and fabricate his various heroic actions to receive honor and
recognition for that which he was not entitled.
Every current and former sailor, who has ever received a medal from the
Navy should write, email, or call the Department of the Navy and demand
that the Navy step up and defend its own honor, in that it stands behind
its medals and its men and woman, or who admits that its procedures have
been faulty and that men who receive medals for their service and actions
may indeed not really be entitled to them, as in the case of Sen. Kerry.
And the Navy has the manpower to do this before the election this November
so the American voting public will know if indeed Sen. Kerry is a true war
hero, or a complete fraud, UNFIT for COMMAND; or, if the Swift Boat
Veterans for Truth are men of Valor and Integrity, or, if they are lying
scoundrels who have slandered and cast doubt on every U. S. Naval Sailor
who has ever received a medal for their heroism and service to America.
