Where was Lt. Kerry when Martin Luther King was killed?

I just heard that Kerry is even Lying about that day....
where he was, and what he was doing
now if that is true I would see it as a real slap in the face
to all of us
is there no end to this guys falsehoods?

Hey, I heard Kerry was in the same state as MLK the day he was killed!
I heard Kerry owned a rifle just like the one that was used to kill
MLK! In fact I heard Kerry was in the same city the day MLK was gunned
down!
Hey I lived in Dallas, Texas the day JFK was gunned down! In fact I
lived close to the Texas Book Repository near Dealy Plaza the day JFK
was gunned down! In fact my father owned a rifle, the exact same model
that was found on the floor of the Repository that Oswald used to kill
JFK!
Of course I was only 3 years old at the time & my dad was in the Navy
on the USS Midway out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean somewhere at
the time, so whatever :-D
