HERE IS TODAY BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA NEWS:
On Wednesday, he apologized to Mr. Obama, the senator from Illinois,
and to two African-American leaders who had run for president - the
Rev. Al Sharpton and the Rev. Jesse Jackson - who had been put off by
Mr. Biden's description of Mr. Obama as "articulate and bright and
clean," and a remark that suggested a contrast with previous African-
Americans who had run for office.
From there it was on to the "Daily Show," where he apologized to Jon
Stewart. And on Thursday, he went on Mr. Sharpton's radio show where
he apologized so profusely, and heaped so much praise on Mr. Sharpton
- "Al, I love you!" Mr. Biden said - that it left even Mr. Sharpton
speechless.
"We owe you," Mr. Biden said to Mr. Sharpton. "I am not being
solicitous."
