Do you not realise that you are playing exactly into their hands even
speculating like that?
Their entire aim - *entire* aim - is to destabilise your country.
They have succeeded spectacularly, and continue to do so for as long
as you spend more time looking over your shoulders than looking
forward.
They must be pissing themselves laughing at you lot running around
like frightened children, them secure in the knowledge that they have
to do very little (if anything) to keep you that way - it seems to be
a natural American way of existing, being ***** scared all the time.
All the time people are speculating about the "next one", they win
without having to do anything more at all.
The time you will have defeated them is when as a country you can
shrug your shoulders fatalistically (a word I use deliberately) and
carry on with what used to pass as a reasonably civilised existence.
All by themselves, those 20 or so terrorists on 11th Sept 2001 have
managed to push your entire country right back into the height of
1950's cold war paranoia.
So far, they are winning.
Changing that is up to you (as a country).
