Who wins in Iraq? |
Certainly not the thousands of ordinary Americans killed and wounded.
Certainly not the families of the above.
Certainly not those who will suffer from mental illness as a result of the
atrocities they witnessed.
Certainly not those taxpayers who funded the neo-cons little war.

America has a choice: It can continue to grow the economy and create new
jobs as the President's policies are doing; or it can raise taxes on
American families and small businesses, hurting economic recovery and future
job creation.

America has a choice: It can continue to grow the economy and create new
jobs and go to war yet again, as the President's policies are doing; or it
can raise taxes on American families and small businesses, hurting economic
recovery and future job creation yet sparing the lives of hundreds or even
thousands of U.S. soldiers and tens or hundreds of thousands of foreign
citizens.

And not the 10,000 or so Iraqis who have been killed in this grubby
little contract grab.
