Is pointing with the thumb something politicians learned in "Politics
101"?
Its very annoying, it first ticked me off when Dan Quayle used to do it in
his attempt to look stately, today I saw Kerry, Clark and Edwards do it.
It
looks so silly and phoney.
Al Franken called it "thumbwrestling"
They do it because pointing makes it look like you're "making a point".
But pointing with a finger is considered rude.
Personally I think it's stupid, but I'm not running for President either.
