Why McCain or Romney Will Lose the Next Election (Dems make betterDems) |
It is a deluded fantasy to think that McCain or Romney could win the
next election. I don't need a long explanation to tell you why. It
comes down to two simple points...
1. Democrats make better democrats. What I mean by this is that in a
political battle between a Democrat liberal and a Republican liberal,
Democrats are going to stick with their own candidate..why should they
accept a copy instead of an original?
2. Hard Core Conservatives will not follow McCain. Some may betray
their principles for the party, but those committed to conservatism
will simply not vote, if the choice is between a liberal Republican
and a liberal Democrat.
So, McCain will not end up with a majority of EITHER the Democrat or
Republican vote and will be relying (almost exclusively) upon
independents to win the election. If he were somehow to win the
election, the republican party would self-destruct, as conservatives
left and the party ends up looking like Democrats, just like following
Theodore Roosevelt.

I believe McCain is the only Republican who could win in
November. He would win a large majority of Republican voters,
most independent voters, most hispanic voters, and if Clinton
is the opponent, a significant number of Democratic voters.
That's a winning combination. It's a close call if Obama is
the Democratic nominee.

Fantasy. Democrats are not going to bypass their own candidate to go
for someone that speaks like a Democrat but would be subject to
Republican money influence. Any charge of Clinton's flip flops would
be met with McCain's flip flops (which are many). Independent voters
would split (being INDEPENDENT), so McCain couldn't count on all of
them...women would likely back Clinton. And, the Evangelical
Christian group of McCain's own party would likely stay home or vote
for the opposition (or a write in).

Whoaa there! Christians don't need to stay home. They can start
their very own party and run Huckabee!
It could be named:

The Christian Right Party
The Christian Fundamentalist Party

The religious kooks already have a registered political party. It's called
the 'Family Values Party' (http://members.aol.com/fvparty/fvparty1/). I
doubt forming another one would be any more politically viable.

It could be named:
=2E..after one of the religious kooks that founded the country (53 of
the founders were active members of their church). Indeed, I have a
book on my site that quotes EVERY President (Democrat and Republican)
that are both Christians and vocal about God (Even Bill Clinton). Why
do you think they did that, if the Christian conservative vote was not
important? Why do you think that both McCain and Romney that have
been anti-religious in the past have suddenly become "born again"
believers? The problem? Christians are not fools. We've already
shown the courage to reject a false system (unlike cowardly
agnostics). Rejecting a false candidate is no big leap.

For over 30 years the false witness party (GOP) has been allowing the
murder of thousands of unborn babies.
To save these unborn babies you need to start your own party.
