Probably a good idea to go ahead and nuke them now and get it over with. Go
in and conquer them and make it the 51st state. Gather up all the men and
draft them into the military then send them to Iran to conquer them. We can
make Iran a US Territory. Bush can then take Iranians and draft them into
the US military and send them to Iraq to be conquered. Once the US conquers
Iraq, take those people and draft them, and send them to Japan to finish
WW2. Finally make Japan a US territory and get control over the auto
industry and divide up Toyota, Honda and Nissan and evenly distribute them
between Ford and GM. Then take the Japanese people and draft them and send
them to Germany to finally put a cap on WW2 once and for all. Take over
Mercedes and give the complete shares to Chrysler. It just the way things
were meant to be. After all that Russia will be a piece of cake.

So what? The US also makes use of nuclear technology. If someone needs
to be nuked is the US.

No, Brazil is relatively friendly and has legitimate reasons for Nuclear
power. Now Chavez and Venzuela might be a different story.

Brazil may be a friend today...but what about tommorrow? Iran was once a
busom buddy too. Just depends on what day it is.

Brazil has no oil, and has no intention of conducting international
commerce using anything other than the dollar. So, no nukes from Bush.

Me thinks you are a misinformed idiot. Here is why:
Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has opened a vast new
oil rig which will enable the country to be self-sufficient in oil
production.
Costing more than $600 million (£337m), the platform will generate
180,000 barrels a day.
The total amount of oil produced by Brazil now exceeds the amount
consumed by its people[.. ]

It appears if everyone is expecting oil to spike over $100 a barrel
here, as the markets seem to be dictating, economically, it makes sense
to use nuclear or something else and SELL the oil on the open market to
maximize profits.

Brazil has a lot in the way of resources, and if they were to
decide to get cooperative with other South American countries in a
joint defense program (say, like Southeast Asia did with ASEAN, the
Association of Southeast Asian Nations), that would make the (probably
unlikely) invasion of Venezuela pretty undoable. Don't forget that the
US had to bribe Argentina away from exporting the Condor ballistic
missile in the '80s. Funny thing that some of those locos are acting
like the US is nothing more than a big bully, but they relied on old
nazis for their ballistic missile technology development.
