When you voted for George Bush did you anticipate 2000 young American troops
dying in Iraq? Sadly, that will likely be the case by the end of the
weekend. Who will be the two thousandth? Will it be your son or daughter?
Maybe your brother? Perhaps your Mom or Dad? The current count is 1,994
dead, 15,220 wounded. It did not have to be this way. Bush embraced a flawed
Rumsfeld doctrine at the Pentagon and went to war ill-prepared to win the
peace in Iraq. Bush is murdering between three and five American soldiers
everyday because he refuses to put in enough troop strength to get Iraq
under control. To do that, he would have to admit he short shifted the
military and has needlessly wasted thousands of both American and Iraqi
lives.
By Christmas, 2100 will be dead and over 16,000 will come home wounded. Is
this the George Bush you supported in the last election? No! This is a man
that allowed himself to be manipulated by false information and big money
influences, i.e. Halliburton, Exxon Oil, etc. Simply, there is profit in
war. Too bad it has to be paid for with American blood. Agreed, Hussein was
a wrong-minded person, but who nominated George Bush a one-person
international judge and jury? Was it solely up to Bush to overthrow Hussein?
It is true terrorists attacked the United States on September 11, 2001.
However, no one in Iraq, nor were Iraqi resources used in that attack. Yet
Bush, attacked Iraq using Hussein as an excuse.
The truth is, taking control of Iraq and Iraq's oil had long been planned by
the Bush dynasty. As the Valerie Plame CIA leak investigation is starting to
show, ***** Cheney's people already knew there was no deal between Hussein
and Niger for yellow cake uranium, yet Cheney, and therefore Bush, allowed
Americans to believe there was. Why? It was a convenient excuse to attack
Iraq and commandeer its oil. That is, feeding Americans and Congress lies
regarding Hussein's nuclear capabilities, falsely bolstered American's fear
of non-existent weapons of mass destruction. Therefore, it created a false
premise for Bush to invade Iraq.
Regrettably, Bush had alternative motives to capture Iraq. Bush believed
Iraq's oil was up for grabs. The problem is, Bush is not the only oil
entrepreneur interested in Iraq. Bush says we are fighting terrorists in
Iraq. Not so. He is using the American military to fight highly financed
mercenaries also equally interested in capturing the Iraqi oil resources.
After all, Iraq has the second largest oil reserve in the world. A grand
booty for the winner.
It is sad Bush continues to use terrorism as an excuse for his murderous
deeds in Iraq. Bush admits terrorism is borderless. Bush said on October 6,
2005, "The images and experience of September the 11th are unique for
Americans. Yet the evil of that morning has reappeared on other days, in
other places -- in Mombasa, and Casablanca, and Riyadh, and Jakarta, and
Istanbul, and Madrid, and Beslan, and Taba, and Netanya, and Baghdad, and
elsewhere. In the past few months, we've seen a new terror offensive with
attacks on London, and Sharm el-Sheikh, and a deadly bombing in Bali once
again." Again, this is Bush fully admitting terrorism is not solely Iraqi.
Additionally, we know that 85 people died on October 13, when Militants
attacked police and government buildings in Russia's volatile Caucasus
region. So no, Bush isn't fighting terrorism in Iraq. He is fighting for
control of its oil. Too bad Bush is murdering American soldiers to do it.
