In greater danger than ever? |
Our forces are stretched too thin-----Afghanistan forces (supposedly 10K)
could easily be overrun. GWB has been an advertishing poster for Al Qaeda
recruitment for all the serious errors in judgement that have been
made---comments of many career military elisted and officer alike getting
out as soon as they can------
There's problems discovered with the oil reserves in Iraq (which was as it
turns out, our main reason for being there) not being able to successfully
get out without destroying them............makes the June exodus
increasingly probable, if Bush&Halliburton see the oil as less lucrative)
No estimates have been published, but it is possible that Al Qaeda and
sympathisers may be in excess of pre-9/11 levels, and the U.S. is probably
in greater danger than ever of a terrorist attack.
(Our so-called Homeland Security that we gave a lot to, never got around to
securing power grids, water supplies, gas suppliers....... but a minute
amount in the energy bill that is not enough to budge the needle....)

The City of Cleveland is going to be laying off 15% of its public safety
forces. I don't know what percentage of our National Guard and reserve
units are deployed overseas. The thinness of our homeland security is
going to come back to bite Chicken George in the ***** when he begins
using fear of terrorism as a campaign gimmick. Let's hope it doesn't
come back to bite America in the ***** before we get rid of him.
