American Troops Killed.
Another smirk, twitch and shrug from the chimp and still no WMD's.
It'll be a blessing if he's tossed in the can before his term is up.
Rumour has it Plame is considering filing a suit against the assholes
that outed her ... Bush would have to testify under oath.

If she sues, then so should everyone else who ended up getting outed
along with her. While she's the only one whose ID was specifically
given, by doing so, everyone who worked with her at the front was also
outed.
I wonder if anyone (informants, workers, etc) was killed because of
their connection to Plame and/or the CIA front company she worked for.
We never did hear about anyone looking into that.

At the time her identity was made public, she had not worked covertly
outside the country for more than five years. To get a criminal
conviction, prosecutors would need a covert agent who had worked
outside the country within the previous five years, and then prove the
government had taken measures to conceal the covert agent's identity.
Then prosecutors would have to prove the "outer" KNEW all of that, and
intentionally outed her anyway. Based on that law, a criminal
conviction seems remote.
Everything I've read lately says the prosecutor might be looking more
for a possible charge of "cover-up" during his investigation -- like
with Martha Stewart. They couldn't get her for the original crime they
hoped to charge her with, so they hit her with an obstruction charge
instead.

I was wondering about journalists finding more juicy tidbits to print
up, not prosecutors.

And they got Al Capone on income tax evasion, but everyone knew he was a
criminal.
