-Clement Attlee replaces Churchill as Prime Minister of Britain.
AUGUST 6th, 1945
-Atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
AUGUST 8th, 1945
-Soviet Union declares war on Japan.
AUGUST 9th, 1945
-Soviet forces invade Manchuria. Atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki.
AUGUST 14th, 1945
-Japan surrenders.
SEPTEMBER 2nd, 1945
-Formal surrender ceremonies on board battleship Missouri in Tokyo Bay.

AUGUST 8th, 1945
-Soviet Union declares war on Japan.
AUGUST 9th, 1945
-Soviet forces invade Manchuria. Atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki.
A pity the bomb hint was not picked up by Stalin, who said so they got
another bomb, we will get one, and they did.
Now everyone has at least one.
