Well, there was that Rooskie that theorized liquid fuel rockets, but it was Bob
Goddard that made it work first. He was another backyard tinkerer without
government funding. Our military didn't put much faith in rocketry until after
Hitler developed and deployed the V-2 during WW2. I sure as hell wouldn't bet
MY ***** on a French rocket, I've seen the news footage... WHOOOOOSHBOOOOOM!
