Dear Misguided Souls:
Please do the world a favor and get either of the following into your heads:
a) A bullet.
b) The following facts--
THERE IS NO GOD.
There never was.
Everything you have ever been told about the love of God the Heavenly
Father and His Son Jesus Christ has been a lie, told by persons who are
deluded as you now are.
No one has been listening to your prayers, or your songs of praise.
You have been talking to yourself.
There is no afterlife, no resurrection. Your loved ones and friends who
have died are gone forever, you will never see them again. When you
yourself die, your consciousness will cease and your corpse will rot until
nothing but bones are left.
All that time,effort and money you and your church spent on trying to get
other people "saved" has been a waste. They never needed "saving" to begin
with. (At least the contributions were tax-exempt.)
Yes, atheists will DIE and be DEAD. So will you. In the end, nobody's
better off than anyone else. (Something to think about the next time a
politician tries to sell you a war.)
I realize these truths are unpleasant to hear, and it does not surprise me
that you feel unable to accept them. What I hope you realize it that the
people who tell you these things ARE angry, but not at God-- they are (in
the case of ex-Christians like me) angry at themselves for having believed
it, and they are also extremely angry at YOU for trying to keep people
fettered to this pernicious delusion.
So, you who claim to bringing "good news", let me now tell you the upside of
all this. The knowledge that God is a delusion means that we don't HAVE to
fight over religion. The knowledge that we're ALL going to die after this
short life is over means that we're all equal in the face of death, and all
of us, regardless of our races and nations and the ethnic slurs used to
describe them are all equally valuable. (Or equally valueless, take your
pick. The cup is both half-empty AND half-full).
So please, for the love of bandwidth, take your massively crossposted
blather back to your church, where you're far more likely to find someone
who agrees with you and/or gives a rat's *****.
As it is, you come across like a psychotic and it only makes us pity you
more.
