What was the purpose of the Bush visit to Canada ( besides Bush
furthering the cause of the need for 'arming the borders' with
ballistic missiles) ???
How about the need for Canada's 'Peace Keepers' in saving the
American's pride in making the Iraqi invasion a "Success Story":
Three things that could happen:
1. Canada will send Peace Keeping troops to 'calm the tides' in
Iraq? -> PROBABLY
2. Canada will use some of its Surplus Budget to improve its UN
Peace Keeping Forces? -> HOPEFULLY
3. Canadian's 'Peace Keepers' will make the U.S. invasion of Iraq
show up in 'future history' as a 'positive' thing? -> MOST DEFINITELY
After all, we have been (silently) been accredited for accomplished
the same things in Haiti, Yugoslavia, and Afghanistan - just to name
a few recent situations)
- G.W. Bush's visit to Canada was not just about getting Canada
'onboard' to his missile project, he knows that we are "a people
divided" on this issue. His main purpose was to request Canada's help
in resolving the Iraq situation in a 'peaceful' manor in Iraq. (But,
still made the U.S. invasion "look good" to the rest of the world.)
I (personally) think it is time to forget his (Bush's) past 3 yrs,
and (as Canadians) concentrate on what can be accomplished in the
next 4 yrs. (I know many Iraqis who are currently 'exiled' here in
Canada that would love to return to their homeland and help in the
re-building of their 'country of birth'.)
So, maybe it is time to hide ( but, not bury) the Axe Of Dissentience
for the time being, and embrace the opportunity of 'prosperity' for a
country in need!!!
