Whatever the excuses about security, this is a no brainer. Censorship
at it's best. The old troops must be letting the cats outa the bags on
these sites. What a kick in the teeth for those troops and their
families.

Maybe they don't want any soldiers to have the opportunity to contradict
the PR stuff that the military will be putting out on their new Youtube
channel:
