Channeler Claims Contact With Dead Presidential Dog Barney

WACKO, TX -- (AFP) -- One day after President Bush's pet dog, Barney, was
euthanized, a psychic channeler has claimed contact with the dog's spirit.
Johnny "JTEM" Madhatter, of Wacko, called a local radio station and
claimed he had received "clearly understandable messages" from the
deceased dog.
"This weird guy called our morning talk show, and said he was in contact
with Barney's spirit," Joe Tivoli, KSST's station manager, said. "We
thought he was nuts because he said the dog was predicting Bush would
invade Iran this Christmas."
Barney was euthanized yesterday after attacking and biting Mr. Bush and
his wife. No explanation was given by veternarians for the sudden vicious
attack. Neither the President or First Lady were seriously injured.
In a telephone interview with the Houston Chronicle, Madhatter confirmed
he had received predictions from the dead dog's spirit. He said Barney
prophesied that Iran would be invaded by US forces at Christmas time, and
then the Antichrist would marry Britney Spears and she would give birth to
his demon child.
