Claiming RACISM as being the only to suffer is Appaulling |
On CNN or CTV (I can't remember which) a story came to light about a group of [White] Canadian
Tourists who where left to fend for themselves on the streets of New Orleans, and a (local)
Black [Afro-American] man who came to their rescue and (helped insuring their safe passage) to
a SAFE LOCATION.
Its not a story of Black and White ; it is a story of those that can help their fellow
humans, WILL !!!
The SUFFERING is being felt by Black and White (and Europeans, and Asians) all over New
Orleans.
It just seems like Black [Afro-American] people are the only ones to be in "Harms Way" (thanks
to the Media coverage). But, they are not the only ones - and most of them are "Not The
Problem in New Orleans; but actually The Solution."
As to that Local Guy that helped those Canadians, I would like to 'feel' that I would do the
same for anyone here (should the situation be reversed) regardless of their colour of skin.
Just Some Serious Thoughts.

There are a few feel good stories coming out of this mess. The one I
liked is the 18 year old black guy that stole the bus and filled it
with people to get them out of the carnage. Now there is a kid that
knows his government won't help and took matters into his own hands.
