Title: Mary, the Noah's Ark (of the New Covenant)

Question: What do the Ark of the Covenant, Mary, the mother of
Jesus, the three temptations of Christ, and Noah's Ark all have
in common? This essay will attempt to answer that, and
understanding it just might save your life, and those you love,
no matter *what* awaits us in the days ahead.

Of all the key dates within the next seven months, which will
encompass the entire actual 'Tribulation' period, April 18, 2004
is without a doubt the most 'pivotal' point during the entire
206-day period. Saint Paul talked about that day;

"Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not
come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is
revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4He will oppose and will
exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped,
so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself
to be God.

5Don't you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you
these things? 6And now you know what is holding him back, so that
he may be revealed at the proper time. 7For the secret power of
lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back
will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. 8And then
the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will
overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the
splendor of his coming. 9The coming of the lawless one will be in
accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of
counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, 10and in every sort of
evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because
they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11For this reason
God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the
lie 12and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the
truth but have delighted in wickedness."

The Holy Spirit is the 'restrainer' holding back the "secret
power of lawlessness", and when He is "taken out of the way" some
45 days from now, the "lawless one will be revealed", who is the
Antichrist. At that point, God will allow him, the False Prophet,
and all those who do their bidding to do what they please to to
the 'Saints', those who truly follow the Lamb of God, Jesus
Christ;

"He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and
try to change the set times and the laws. The saints will be
handed over to him for a time, times and half a time."

"Then I, Daniel, looked, and there before me stood two others,
one on this bank of the river and one on the opposite bank. 6 One
of them said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the
waters of the river, "How long will it be before these
astonishing things are fulfilled?"

7 The man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the
river, lifted his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and
I heard him swear by him who lives forever, saying, "It will be
for a time, times and half a time. **When the power of the holy
people has been finally broken, all these things will be
completed." **
8 I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, "My lord, what
will the outcome of all this be?"

9 He replied, "Go your way, Daniel, because the words are closed
up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many will be
purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue
to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who
are wise will understand.

11 "From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the
abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290
days. 12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of
the 1,335 days.

Before going on, please note verses 11 and 12 above. Since the
events mentioned and the separation of time between them clearly
contradicts the timetable that the Archangel Gabriel gave to
Daniel earlier (Chapter 9), those numbers above are clearly
intended to be a clue to the reader to find the number difference
between them, in which case turns out to be 45 days.

It is forty-five days from March 4, 2004 (tomorrow as of this
writing) to April 18, 2004, which not coincidentally, is both the
Jewish Holocaust Memorial Day, and the Roman Catholic Divine
Mercy Sunday. Catholics everywhere are asked to start a nine-day
'novena' beginning on Good Friday, praying for *ALL* souls in the
world, and in Purgatory. According to the nun Blessed Faustina
who allegedly received the prayer and novena from the Lord, He
promised "By this Novena I will grant every possible grace to
souls."

Comet Wormwood

April 18, 2004 is the date that I believe the False Prophet will
also ascend to his own position of power, that being in my
estimation the Throne of Saint Peter in Rome. As well, the Two
Witnesses described in Revelation 11 will begin their 150-day
testimony on the streets of Jerusalem. Furthermore, that is the
date that the locusts from the Abyss arrive;

"The fifth angel sounded his trumpet, and I saw a star that had
fallen from the sky to the earth. The star was given the key to
the shaft of the Abyss. 2When he opened the Abyss, smoke rose
from it like the smoke from a gigantic furnace. The sun and sky
were darkened by the smoke from the Abyss. 3And out of the smoke
locusts came down upon the earth and were given power like that
of scorpions of the earth. 4They were told not to harm the grass
of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did
not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5They were not given
power to kill them, but only to torture them for five months. And
the agony they suffered was like that of the sting of a scorpion
when it strikes a man. 6During those days men will seek death,
but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude
them.

7The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their
heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces
resembled human faces. 8Their hair was like women's hair, and
their teeth were like lions' teeth. 9They had breastplates like
breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the
thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle.
10They had tails and stings like scorpions, and in their tails
they had power to torment people for five months. 11They had as
king over them the angel of the Abyss, whose name in Hebrew is
Abaddon, and in Greek, Apollyon."

Finally, note what causes the locusts to rise from the Abyss in
the first place, a "star that had fallen from the sky to the
earth."

Some may believe this to be symbolic of Lucifer (the bright
'Morning Star') being hurled to the earth after the War in Heaven
(Rev.12:7), and that may well be the actual case as well. But in
the previous chapter, that 'star' was described as being
something quite different, much more physical in nature;

"6Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to
sound them.
7The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and
fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down upon the earth. A
third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were
burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.

8The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge
mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea
turned into blood, 9a third of the living creatures in the sea
died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

10The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing
like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on
the springs of water-- 11the name of the star is Wormwood. [1] A
third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the
waters that had become bitter.

12The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun
was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so
that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without
light, and also a third of the night.

13As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call
out in a loud voice: "Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the
earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the
other three angels!"

Footnotes

8:11 That is, Bitterness

Some people believe that the three separate phenomena described
above are caused by three separate causes. Not so, they are
caused by one single event, which also releases the Locusts from
the bowels of the earth. And no, it isn't an asteroid, since that
heavenly body cannot cause 'bitterness'.
But a comet can. A comet is basically composed of frozen
substances such as
HCN (Hydrogen Cyanide), Formaldehyde and Methanol (which breaks
down and
forms Formic Acid, the 'stinging' agent of Fire Ants), is
dissipated in the
atmosphere, and falls on the Earth's land surface, poisoning its
fresh
waters for quite some time. All three chemical substances are
known for
their 'bitterness' ('Wormwood'). Add to that the vast amounts of
sulphuric
acid caused by the sulphur dioxide clouds emitted by the flowing
magma and
lava from the pierced earth's crust. These clouds will darken the
skies for
some time, preventing crops from growing in most parts of the
northern
hemisphere, amongst other devastations.

And, on April 18, 2004, I believe that a small comet, or a piece
of a larger sungrazing comet broken up during its solar flypast
will slam into the earth, piercing its crust.

According to a NASA website, at
http://impact.arc.nasa.gov/torino/ ;

"The Torino Scale is a "Richter Scale" for categorizing the Earth
impact hazard associated with newly discovered asteroids and
comets. It is intended to serve as a communication tool for
astronomers and the public to assess the seriousness of
predictions of close encounters by asteroids and comets during
the 21st century."
I believe that this comet, or chunk of a larger comet will be at
**least** a "Nine" out of a possible ten, which is classified in
the "Certain Collisions" category, and described as;
"A collision capable of causing regional devastation. Such events
occur between once per 1,000 years and once per 100,000 years."

As to where it will strike, I will take my guess, and gut feeling
and say in the Northern Hemisphere, in an ocean (thus causing the
effects upon the sea creatures and ships at sea of Revelation
8:8-9).

Re-read Revelation 8 with the idea in mind that it is indeed a
comet. The first physical effect of a comet entering the earth's
atmosphere would be that the kinetic energy caused by such a mass
travelling at such extreme velocities would be heat, in the form
of fire;

"7The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and
fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down upon the earth. A
third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were
burned up, and all the green grass was burned up." (Rev. 8:7 NIV)

The second effect, would be the mass of the comet core striking
the planetary surface, in this case, the open sea;

"8The second angel sounded his trumpet, and something like a huge
mountain, all ablaze, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea
turned into blood, 9a third of the living creatures in the sea
died, and a third of the ships were destroyed." (Rev. 8:8-9 NIV)

The third effect would be the subsequent fallout upon the oceans,
and lands, and its fresh waters of the hydrogen cyanide,
formaldehyde and methanol that made up the cometary nucleus;

"10The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing
like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on
the springs of water-- 11the name of the star is Wormwood. [1] A
third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the
waters that had become bitter." (Rev. 8: 10-11 NIV)

The final effect would be caused by the earth's magma that would
erupt from below the earth's crust, thus becoming lava. When the
surrounding ocean water again closes in on the impact point, the
resulting steam and sulfur dioxide smoke will be tremendous, and
will cover one-third of the planetary surface;

"12The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun
was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so
that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without
light, and also a third of the night." (Rev. 8: 12 NIV)

The following is part of a research paper written by an MIT
student describing the probable physical effects of an asteroid
striking the earth. Simply replace 'asteroid' with 'comet', thus
adding the additional effects that the frozen poisons that makes
up a comet, and you may get some idea of what to expect on April
18, 2004, 46 days from the point of this writing;

"PREMONITION"

"The consequences of a collision with [a small earth-crossing
asteroid] are unimaginable; the repercussions would be felt the
world over. In dissipating the energy equivalent of half-a
trillion tons of TNT, 100 million tons of the earth's crust would
be thrust into the atmosphere and would pollute the earth's
environment for years to come. A crater 15 miles in diameter and
perhaps three to five miles deep would mark the impact point,
while shock waves, pressure changes, and thermal disturbances
would cause earthquakes, hurricances, and heat waves of almost
incalculable magnitude. Should [the asteroid] plunge into the
ocean a thousand miles east of Bermuda, for example, the
resulting tidal wave, propagating at 400 to 500 miles per hour,
would wash away the resort islands, swamp most of Florida, and
lash Boston-1500 miles away, with a 200-foot wall of water...The
energy involved is the equivalent of 500,000 megatons of TNT-two
orders of magnitude above that involved in the largest recorded
earthquake, and four or five orders of magnitude more than
Krakatoa... If the strike occurred in midocean, tsunamis in the
100-foot category would cause worldwide damage. If the strike
occurred on land, the blast wave would level trees and buildings
within a radius of several hundred miles, and some 10 tons of
soil and rock dust would be thrown into the stratosphere, where
for several decades it would act to reduce the solar radiation
ordinarily received at earth's surface and threaten the
triggering on an ice age.

Comet Wormwood is coming, folks, and it will arrive on April 18,
2004. How do I know when it will happen, you might ask?

One of my four 'timelines' stemming from Biblical endtime
prophecy theorizes that there are two 'sevens', that being two
seven-year periods instead of just the one 'seven', or 'week' as
laid out by Daniel 9:24-27.

The first 'seven' began with the 'Covenant With Death' signed on
September 13, 1993 between Israel and the PLO in Washington D.C.
You all should remember the famous photo and/or video of Israeli
Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin reluctantly shaking the hand
extended to him by then grinning PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat, with
US President Bill Clinton behind them, veritably pushing them
together to do so. That was Day Zero, and began a countdown to
what I thought at that time to result in the Second Coming on
September 21, 2000, 2,565 days later.

I may have been wrong about God's intention for what that first
'seven' was to augur for mankind. I thought it was the one, and
final 'seven'. It was not, it was supposed to act as a 'wake-up
call', a 'warning', one that if recognized and heeded by a
subsequently repentant mankind, there would be no need for a
'second seven', in which instead of harmless but ominous 'signs'
on the key dates within that period, this time around, it will be
the real deal, with real deaths and devastation.

Exactly 1,260 days after the Oslo II Accords were signed in 1993,
there came news out of Scotland of the first true mammalian
clone. Dolly the lamb, born previously to the announcement in
July of 1996. That announcement took place on February 23, 1997,
in the 'middle of the (first) 'seven', as per Daniel 9:

"The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end,
and desolations have been decreed. 27 He will confirm a covenant
with many for one 'seven.' [9] In the middle of the 'seven' [10]
he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of
the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation,
until the end that is decreed is poured out on him."

As stated before, the Dolly announcement was the precursor,
merely the ominous 'forerunner' or 'harbinger' sign of what would
happen should the second 'seven' become necessary.

And, just as tomorrow's announcement of the world's first
confirmed human clone's existence (probably born on February
23/24, ten days previously), seven years after the Dolly
announcement, so too will the events that occurred 45 days after
that 1997 cloning announcement.

On April 10, 1997, 45 days after Dolly, Comet Hale-Bopp
conjuncted the star known as Algol in the Constellation Perseus.
Precisely one year before, Comet Hyakutake also conjuncted (came
very close to) Algol. Together, they formed a giant 'cross' in
the night skies, as they travelled 'apparently' to a viewer on
earth virtually perpendicular to each other's paths.

The name Algol comes from the Arabic 'Al Ghoul', meaning 'The
Ghoul'. The Hebrews call it 'Rosh Shatan', literally the 'Head of
Satan'. The Greeks put it as being one of the deadly eyes of the
decapitated head of the gorgon Medusa, which Perseus, 'the
Breaker' holds in the constellation.

The following is a quote from "The Witness of the Stars" by E. W.
Bullinger, pp. 116-117, concerning the star Algol:

"It is a most remarkable phenomenon that so many of these enemies
should be characterized by variable stars! But this head of
Medusa, like the neck of Cetus, has one. Algol is continually
changing. In about 69 hours it changes from the 4th magnitude to
the 2nd. During four hours of this period it gradually diminishes
in brightness, which it recovers in the succeeding four hours;
and in the remaining part of time, invariably preserves its
greatest lustre. After the expiration of this time its brightness
begins to decrease again. Fit emblem of our great enemy, who,
"like a roaring lion, goeth about seeking whom he may devour" (I
Peter 5:8); then changing into a subtle serpent (Genesis 3:83);
then changing again into an angel of light" (2 Corinthians
11:14). "Transforming himself" continually, to devour, deceive,
and destroy."

The following quote is from a man named John Leary, a retired
pharmacist from Rochester, New York, who claims to have received
messages from Jesus Christ around seven years ago or so;

"MESSAGE VIA JOHN LEARY - MAR 25 - APR 1, 1997

Thursday, March 27, 1997: (Holy Thursday)
Jesus said:

"My son, this comet that you have seen tonight with your own
eyes, is the sign of the Anti-Christ's coming. I have told you
before to look to the skies for the signs of things to come. I
have also told you that I, and not the Anti-Christ, would produce
this sign of his coming. As you see the darkness come after, you
will know his reign will be brief, but darkness will have its day
much like the men I allowed to crucify Me for your sake."

The following is a seven-year old email from Bob Wadsworth,
speaking of the same astronomical phenomena that is being spoken
of above. It was this letter which had alerted me to the event in
the first place;

"Dear Dan,

There is some difference of opinion on what I lean toward, and
your timeline on the tribulation period and who is the beast or
antichrist, and how it will unfold. I am not saying that your
opinion is wrong. I just mailed out the April Biblical Astronomy
newsletter which compares the paths of Comet Hyakutake and Comet
Hale-Bopp for the same time period one year apart. I show the
path of Comet Hyakutake from April 1 to April 30, 1996, and the
path of Comet Hale-Bopp from April 1 to April 30, 1997. I printed
the charts for both dates. In holding the two charts together in
front of a light and lining up the constellations, the two paths
form a cross. Furthermore, their crossing point is in the Medusa
head that Perseus is holding in his left hand. In Hebrew, this
head is known as Rosh Satan, or head of Satan. What is even more
interesting is that the two comets were in the same spot, at this
crossing point, on the same day, one year apart. The date that
both comets were at the same crossing point is April 10. We'll
see what happens."

"At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky,
and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the
Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great
glory."

As Dolly was a mere 'sign' presaging the human clone birth
tomorrow, March 4, 2004, so too is the comet coincidence of seven
years ago a mere 'sign' of two major events slated for April 18,
2004. The coming of the Antichrist et al, and a very nasty comet
slamming into the earth.

Within the next 36 hours at the most, you will find out indeed
whether my information comes from God, or from my own mere
imagination.

You will then have 45 days to decide your eternal fate; Heaven,
or Hell. The Holy Spirit of God, during that time, will be
looking for those who are sincere about wanting to end up in the
first destination, and will quite overlook those who are not, and
don't. The final 45-day 'sealing' of the righteous will thus
begin.

And, if you can't bring yourself to recognize and accept Him,
finally, then go right ahead and;

"Live it up, rip it up, why so lazy?" (the missing verse, btw)

The 'rapture' is a myth, btw, and a very dangerous one. There is
no escape from this pale blue dot floating in the blackness of
space; supernatural or otherwise. Your best bet for *physical*
survival *may* be to buy a ticket to Sydney for April 17th or
earlier. But it's our *spiritual* survival that's much more
important, eternally so, whether you can accept that fact either
or not. And the only way out of here alive in that respect is to
put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. By no other name are we
saved from final damnation.

Speaking of which, I am 'over, and *out of here*'. I may be a bad
'prophet', to a point, but I am not a 'false' one, nor deserving
of other certain epithets hurled at me from those I perceived as
being my friends recently in this newsgroup. Take care of
yourselves, and may God bless you *all*, and that He have utmost
mercy for your welfare in the dark days ahead, and eternal fate.
You'll all always be in my prayers, and hope that I'll always be
in yours as well. We will need every one of them.
