Did anyone here happen to see the Crossfire people get lambasted by Jon Stewart
for giving people theater under the guise of news? I missed it, but heard about
it 3rd hand. The only thing I heard about was them mentioning how his show
could be considered 'theater", too, and he responded by saying they are on CNN,
while he's on Comedy Central follows a show featuring couple of puppets who make
prank phone calls. ROTFL!!
I'm sure there was more than 30 seconds to the interview, and I want to hear the
rest of the story on this one!
(Also interested if it'll be rebroadcast, which I doubt ...)

Just finished watching this .... that was the best thing I've ever seen
happen on television ever !! The idiots that host the show had no idea what
was about to hit them. Absolutely classic.... the best by far.
Jon Stewart is my new personal hero.

Hey! Those puppets offer us a lot of relevant social commentary! I
think it's unfair to compare them unfavorably to the guys on

Unfortunately for Tucker Carlson, Jon Stewart was Crossfire's only guest.
Paul Begala played it smart, and mostly kept his mouth shut, while Jon was
mopping the Floor with Tucker. Tucker was smiling throughout, but the smile
soon became strained, forced and painful. It was quite a sight, even hard
to watch at times! Paul was mostly diplomatic and slightly subdued, whereas
Tucker, being his usual abrasive, confrontational self, picked the wrong guy
to to match wits with. Jon made alot of good points, and slammed the show
on a number of fronts both subtlely, and not-so-subtely (ie. calling them
both political HACKS) as being bad for America. Finally, just before
commercial break, Tucker slammed out one of his usual barbed zingers, saying
Jon's a huge drag, and much more fun on his own show...and Lightning fast,
perhaps a first for a guest on Crossfire, before Tucker could be saved by
the commercial break, Jon pepper-sprayed Tucker as being as much a ***** on
His Show, as he is on ANY Show!!!! BAAAAMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!! YESSSS!!!!

Ahh, no... Just I would like to be able to save the file to my hard disk.
Because I'm in Australia, streaming video from the US doesn't always result
in happiness for me.
