Since Noah was six hundred years old (Genesis 7:6) upon entering
the ark, thus I believe Josephus' reference to a "great year" is
in reference to the grand century of Jupiter (427 tropical years),
since one's ultimate GOAL is ever to be more of the giving nature,
more Jovian, more generous, more gracious, more gratitude-giving,
more interested in the well-being of other self, than in the self,
since Zeus (Theos, Deus, Jehovah, Jupiter, Emperor) is the God of
Giving, whereas Saturn (Kronos, Father Time, The Scythe, Judgment)
is the God of Taking, hence "the LORD giveth, and the LORD taketh
away" [Job 1:21], hence the war of ten sidereal years between the
eternally-youthful Olympians "versus" the eternally-elder Titans,
the eternal, heavenly battle between space and time, if you will,
the battle of evermore (wasn't that a tune from Led Zepellin IV?).
The term "great year" or "grand century" refers to each of the ten
planets. E.g., the grand century of the Moon is 800 tropical years,
the interval between the start of eclipsed moons occulting Regulus.
The grand century of the Sun is 410 years, i.e. the very long-term
global average for solar totality. Thus I'll quote M. Nostradamus:

In the above excerpt, Nostradamus' reference to "Solars" means
the SIDEREAL orbits of the planets, predictably compounding in
reference to each planet's synodic aspects from their positions
to Earth, as was commonly measured in lunisolar, tropical years.
The "Lunars" means each planet's synodic phases, aspects, etc.,
you know, as in Venus-superior is the Evening Star, and Venus-
inferior is the Morning Star, measured from conjoin to conjoin,
as shown in the following chart, which proves that the heavens
were numbered by their *sidereal* orbits, not synodic periods,
thereby also proving that ancient astronomers knew a whole lot
more about astronomy than the "modern-day" Atheists ever will,
and that their much-lauded "Copernican Revolution" is a sham:

Thus to truly understand the Genesis account, it helps to know
that the Hebrew-Egyptian Priest Moses was _far_ better-educated
than modern Christians, Atheists, Gentiles, give him credit for
(they don't even know what the "perfect mood" means, go figure?).
So when they wonder how the great flood occurred circa 28,000 BC,
the answer is: The same way they wonder how the heavens and the
earth were created in six "days"! IOW, the fundies haven't got a
clue. Not all Christians are like that, you know "fundamentalist-
literalist"-types, but most are, including their Atheist cousins.
At any rate, the seventh great or "platonic" year of Earth is
the slow, steady, and very predictable gyration of the Earth's
rotational axis against Earth's caelestial firmament. Nowadays
this is more commonly referred to as "equinoctial precession".
And because the Mayan long-count predicted the winter solstice
of Friday December 21st, 2012 conjunct the Mayan "Sacred Tree",
they predicted this LONG-EXPECTED event with such astonishing
and unrivaled accuracy, even to date, the Mayan long-count is
therefore deemed the most reliable measure of Earth's great
year against Earth's caelestial firmament (Ouranos, Uranus,

about 25626.8304 by the ancient Mayan reckoning. Using the
rounded-off figure of 25626.83=>therefore, about 9,360,000
(nine million three hundred sixty thousand) solar days per
great year of precession yields about 26000 solar days per
1/360th of a great year equals one arcdegree of precession
every 26000 solar days equals about 71.1856 tropical years,
revealing clear solar day to precessional degree resonance
on the very long-term average, which the Mayans apparently
understood at least as well if not better than anyone. The
very ancient Babylonians, Egyptians, likely knew this, too,
considering their superior knowledge of planetary sidereal-
synodic-tropical multiples, to wit according to Babylonian

Likewise one solar day of precession averages -0.13846 arc-
seconds of ecliptic longitude, thus each solar hour equals
about -0.005769 ecliptic arcseconds of longitude the Earth
precesses against the fixed caelestial sphere. By reducing
this down to one minute--sixty seconds--of solar time, the
Earth precesses on average about -0.000096 arcseconds each
minute thus about -0.0000016 arcseconds per second of time.
Likewise 9360000 solar days divided by five equals 1872000
solar days per Mayan Age of the Sun, with the first of the
five ages which begins each great year, beginning with the
winter solstice Sun conjoined 5 degrees Sagittarius, which
is the caelestial Sacred Tree near the galactic center, or
the apparent intercept of the ecliptic and galactic planes
which is located very nearly 3 ecliptic arcdegrees east of
the galactic center itself /sgrab at 2 degrees Sagittarius.
Again, the following charts summarize the seven great years,
the sabbath of the ages i.e. the sabbatical Age of the Ages,
the whole of which ENDS barely 5 years away at this writing!
