Exclusive: Pics of The Wolf Lair On Witches Road !! |
http://theseven1.tripod.com/house_on_witches_road.htm
As you can see, it is badly run down. The last owners, a middle-aged
couple, were driven to insanity in this house. No one has inhabited it
for years.
The neighbors stay away from the property.
Even the dogs and cats shun it. Birds never set down on the land or the
house.
At night, people claim they can hear shrill moans and gurgling groans
emanating from the old house on Witches Road.
Some even claim to see a ghastly skeletal dark figure of a man moving
around the house.

Wolfbreath has to pass through these spooky gates to get to his Lair on
Witches Road !!
The gates creak a lot as they open and close. Some say they've seen
them moving by themselves, and they can hear howling and scratching
sounds in the dark woods near The Gates.

I like it.
All the latest in 'creature' comforts!
Looks like you're ready for hurricane season too -- if you ever got hit
with a hurricane, that is.
Here's a shot of my backyard last fall --
http://ca.geocities.com/themarvinreport/backyardPanorama.jpg
Took this off the corner of the deck. Gotta an above ground pool too --
shwing!
I don't know if I showed this to you d00ds or not -- you'll need
Shockwave installed -- it's a slideshow of Fall shots I've taken.
There's music so turn up the speakers!

That's it -- kinda stole your thread but what the heck.
Enjoy the new home Wolfie!!

Marv, with photo's like that, you can steal any thread you want! ;)
What a nice garden you have...and those images on the second link are
spectacular. I was especially drawn to the second picture. It asked the
questions, 'What's down the lane? What's under the bridge? Enticing
photo and my favourite of them all.
Thanks for showing me those....the photography really is special.

Well, Marv, I tried to view this. Went to the linked page to download
version 8 but got a 'verbotten this page'. Went to macromedia and
downloaded shockwave 10 and the slideshow still won't open.
I tried.
I picked up a 7.1 megapixel compact a short while ago.

Glad your wife is doing well again. Things like that make for a
rougher winter. Y'all make sure you soak up some sunshine now.

I couldn't find the pic!! Sure you didn't post use 'lolitass' as the
poster?? Those were interesting pics!! j/k ... but it didn't show up on
the stupid usenet server I use ... I will check on my 'backup' server.
I've found using IE allows the slideshow to work ... doesn't work for me
using Opera for some reason.
The sun was shining here on the weekend. Tossed the wife in the
wheelchair and spent the next 3 hours outside walking about (with a
short stop at a non-smoking Irish pub to sit by the window and soak up a
Rickard's).
Thanks!!

Just found your shot on the other server -- NICE SHOT! The sky is such a
stark blue it silhoettes the tree very sharply. The road and fence work
well at leading your eye in ... you can easily get lost in a sky like that.
Nice job ... did you crop it or adjust it at all??

Well there's just a "little" bit of overall saturation added. :-) It's
fairly close. Slightly cropped on the left and the horizon adjusted. The
trees aren't as sharp as I'd have liked but I'm still learning. I think the
camera grabbed focus on the large fencepost and the foreground and I wasn't
paying close enough attention. New toy.
The landscape is pretty unique here this time of year. The ground is the
same green brown everywhere. Tho not all that impressive, the 3rd week of
March has always been a welcome benchmark for the end of winter, beginning
of spring. I had taken the day off and that's the kind of day it was.
Soon everything will start going deep green and blue here.
I tried accessing http://www.johnphoto.com/autumn/ again thru IE and got
the same page with PHOTOJAM 3 and it tells me I need Shockwave 8. Just
loaded 10. I'll still have to work on this. I'd gone in thru Opera first.
The sun was shining here on the weekend. Tossed the wife in the wheelchair
and spent the next 3 hours outside walking about (with a short stop at a
non-smoking Irish pub to sit by the window and soak up a Rickard's).
Now here are some people that know how to soak. :-) Good stuff all around,
Marv. Life is good, eh? Rough at times but still good.
My son has a little boy on the way. That'll make me a real granddad. They
just found out the sex of the child yesterday. Mike said he was "cheesin'"
all day long, big smiles because he wanted a boy. That and his business is
really starting to take off. Yup, ya gotta soak up the good stuff.
Hope it's a warm and sunny spring and summer up there for you and that
better half of yours. :-) Enjoy.

Hey Marv (and anyone else),
I added another shot to alt.binaries.pictures.misc. just for the heck
of it. "Day After"
Same scene as yesterday showing how the weather changes around here.
Same at your place?

Maybe the canine ones, :)! I once sent Susan a pic that had my husband and
baby son in it (to show her some massive sunflowers I grew), but I did it
privately. I just have a squeamish feeling about putting kids up on the

The "Problem" lies in the upstairs behind the two windows of this house.
Whoever owns it.
I'm confused on that point. <G>.
I would recommend Stained glass in both with a small circle of clear glass
as an "exit" portal in each window.
Allow the Energy to exit and not become trapped within.
As an "exit" it will be sufficient , but as an "entrance" it would be
insignificant.
Any pattern will do.
Aesthetically, I would choose a "Wisteria" pattern.
Just a thought from looking at the pictures...
