First Lady Laura Bush Says 'Pelosi Dartboard' Is A Lie
Washington, DC -- (AFP) -- First Lady Laura Bush today dismissed
reports she has a dartboard with Democratic Majority House Leader-To-Be
Nancy Pelosi's face on it as a "ridiculous lie."
"It's a patently ridiculous lie," said Mrs. Bush, "because I have the
utmost respect for Ms. Pelosi and the great job she is doing. I wish
her well."
Right-wing radio talk-show host, Rush Limbaugh, apparently was the
source of the reports.
Yesterday, Limbaugh claimed he had "inside information" the First Lady
"hated Pelosi's guts" so much she had a dartboard in the White House
with Ms. Pelosi's face pasted on it.
"They tell me Laura likes tossing darts at Pelosi's face, and is
especially happy when she scores one right on her nose," Limbaugh
reportedly said.
